Boston's on The Beach Kicks off Blue Tuesdays on October 4

If what they say is true – that blues music speaks to the soul – then maybe you should listen. On Tuesday, October 4 from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Boston’s on the Beach will launch its weekly Blue Tuesdays series with a star-spangled salute to the legacy of Don Cohen, the legendary blues promoter and founder of the original Musicians Exchange.

Hosted by “Famous” Frank Ward, along with co-hosts Dar Lopez and Sylvia Reibel, the popular, free music series kicks off with The Don Cohen Reunion Show, a special tribute spotlighting his remarkable contributions to the South Florida music community. From jump blues to R&B and gospel, the power-packed evening will spotlight the smooth sounds of the finest blues artists from the Mississippi Delta to Memphis. Live performances by blues greats include Sheldon Voss, Motel Mel, Captain Reese, Joey Gilmore, Hi Hat Carter, Maurice Dukes, Delta Nick, The Allnighters, Jeff Prine, Richie & Tess Schmidt, Jerry Mascaro, Tim Kuchta, Jerry Crepeau, Stan Waldman, Graham Drout, John Wentzel, Ken Burkhart, Piano Bob Wilder, and more.

Blue Tuesdays also feature great food and drink specials, including the boozy Nucklebuster Smash ($6) and Boston’s very own A1A IPA ($4).
